We partner with innovative, mission-driven microfinance institutions that reach people traditionally left behind—such as women and the rural poor—with microloans and other services that can help families break the cycle of poverty.”

MIHS has recently been awarded a $20,000 state grant to develop an International Entrepreneurship course. The grant was awarded under the OSPI’s “high demand” category described to “expand access to and awareness of the opportunities offered by high quality career and technical education.” MIHS intends to use the funds and Carol Wiseley, current marketing teacher at MIHS is developing this course to potentially be offered through the Washington Network for Innovative Careers (WA-NIC). We welcome and encourage advanced business students from the region to participate in this course beginning Sept. 2010.
